12. The re was considerable discussion as to whether

or not the 7 Unofficial Members should all be drawn by

election from the Municipal Council. It was thought

that in practice this did not produce the best results,

but on the other hand no suggestions were forthcoming as

to what other bodies might be able to nominate or elect

representatives. This again was a matter which it was

recognised would need very considerable thought.

13. The suggestions recorded above represented "first

thoughts" only and those who attended undertook to

consider the subject further before the next meeting.
